Abstract
General Administration Department - Order issued granting permission to sanction the rent amount for the vehicle hired on contract basis.

Order
As per reference (1), the Government has entered into a contract with Mr. Shahul Hameed for providing a vehicle on contract basis for various needs of the Government Secretariat for two months at a monthly rate of Rs. 25,500/-. Accordingly, Mr. Shahul Hameed has requested as per reference (2) to sanction the rent for the vehicle used for one month from 22.08.2026 to 22.09.2026. The Store Supervisor of the General Administration (House Keeping-B) Department has certified that the said vehicle was used for various needs of the Government Secretariat during the said period as described below. Details are added below.

The Government examined the matter in detail. Permission is granted to sanction a total of Rs. 25,500/- (Rupees Twenty-five thousand five hundred only) as rent for the vehicle provided on contract basis for various needs of the Government Secretariat for one month from 22.08.2026 to 22.09.2026. The Deputy Secretary, General Administration (Accounts-A) Department shall transfer and credit the total amount of Rs. 25,500/- from the head of account "2052-090-99-05-OE-4-Other Items" to the bank account of Mr. Shahul Hameed, A/c No 5842101000521 (IFSC - CNRB 0005842).
