Government of Kerala Abstract Revenue Department - Revenue Recovery - Permission granted to refund the amount of Rs. 1,40,830/- erroneously credited under the head 0029-00-800-92, which was collected from Smt. Krishnapriya in Ernakulam district under RR No. 2023/15952/07 - Order issued. Revenue (H) Department G.O.(Rt) No. 1127/2026/RD Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 18-06-2026 Reference: Letter No. LR/3594/2026-FB(A9) dated 30.04.2026 from the Land Revenue Commissioner. Order The Land Revenue Commissioner had requested, as per the referenced letter, to refund the amount of Rs. 1,40,830/- collected from Smt. Krishnapriya in Ernakulam district under RR No. 2023/15952/07 towards bank loan arrears, which was erroneously credited to the Government under the head 0029-00-800-92-00-0000-NV OTHER ITEMS. 2. The Government had granted permission to Smt. Krishnapriya to pay the bank loan arrears in installments. Accordingly, she had paid the arrears including collection charges and demand notice fees. However, instead of taking the DD in the name of the bank, it was erroneously taken in the name of the Special Tahsildar (RR) Kochi, and thus the amount was credited to the Government under the head 0029-00-800-92-00-0000-NV OTHER ITEMS. The Commissioner had informed that the amount of Rs. 1,40,830/- (excluding collection charges and demand notice fees) should be credited to the bank's account. 3. The Government examined the matter in detail. Permission is granted to refund the amount of Rs. 1,40,830/- erroneously collected from Smt. Krishnapriya under the head 0029-00-800-92-00-0000-NV OTHER ITEMS. Furthermore, the Land Revenue Commissioner is directed to submit the details to the Treasury for inclusion in the 'Refund Master' along with the administrative sanction order and to entrust the appropriate DDO handling BIMS to take the refund proceedings.
