Official Language - Mother Tongue, Government of Kerala. Summary: The Food and Civil Supplies Department issues an order granting permission to refund an amount of ₹36,140 which was erroneously paid twice under different heads for ARD 2480003 in Vellarikundu Taluk. Food and Civil Supplies (D) Department, G.O.(Rt) No.145/2026/F&CS, dated Thiruvananthapuram, 22-06-2026. Reference: Letter No. CCS/3350/2025-E2 dated 08.02.2026 from the Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. Order: An amount of ₹36,140 intended for payment under the head "2408-01-101-94-01-33 COST OF FOOD GRAINS" for ARD 2480003 in Vellarikundu Taluk was erroneously paid under the head "4408-01-101-05-03 DIFFERENTIAL COST" on 30.08.2022. Since the 4408 head is no longer in use and the accounts for that financial year were closed by the AG, it was not practical to transfer the amount. Consequently, the amount was adjusted by deducting it from the commission for March and May 2025 and re-paid under the correct head. As the amount was paid twice, the government has examined the request and grants permission to refund the ₹36,140 (Thirty-six thousand three hundred and forty rupees only) erroneously paid under the head 4408-01-101-05-03 DIFFERENTIAL COST from the head 2408-01-102-95-00-33-NP-V. (By order of the Governor) LEKHA T, Joint Secretary.
