Government of Kerala Abstract: CSIND Department - Kerala Shipping & Inland Navigation Corporation Limited (KSINC) - Staff Pattern Revision - Order issued to re-fix the number of Ticket Issuer cum Master posts. Coastal Shipping & Inland Navigation (A) Department G.O.(Rt) No.6/2026/CSIND dated Thiruvananthapuram, 14-08-2026 Reference: 1. G.O.(MS) No. 9/2023/CSIND dated 19.04.2023. 2. Letter No. A-1/2025 dated 27.10.2025 from the Managing Director, KSINC. Order: An order has been issued as per reference (1) revising the staff pattern of Kerala Shipping & Inland Navigation Corporation Limited (KSINC). Under the new staff pattern, 239 posts in 38 categories were approved, including 20 posts in the Ticket Issuer cum Master category. When the Managing Director discussed the draft special rules regarding the new staff pattern with the recognized employee union representatives on 15.10.2025, it was noted that the 20 posts were required earlier due to ferry services. Since the company does not currently operate its own ferry services, the union representatives suggested reducing the total number of Ticket Issuer cum Master posts to 5. Considering this suggestion as beneficial for the company's progress and employee morale, the Managing Director recommended it as per reference (2). 2. The Government has examined this matter in detail. In the absence of own ferry services for KSINC, the Government hereby orders to reduce the number of Ticket Issuer cum Master posts from twenty to five, as approved in the staff pattern under reference (1). 3. The order under reference (1) shall remain in force with the above amendment. (By order of the Governor) Dr. Rattan U Kelkar IAS, Secretary.
