Letter No. SJD/1754/2026-E1 dated 26.05.2026 from the Director of Social Justice. Order Based on the order dated 27.10.2025 in O.A 1820/2025 filed by Sri. Siddique Chunkakkadan, Welfare Institution Superintendent Grade-1 at Government Home for Differently Abled, Kozhikode, before the Kerala Administrative Tribunal, he was granted notional promotion to the post of District Social Justice Officer effective from 14.02.2021. Consequently, Smt. Ashathi V., who was promoted to the post of District Social Justice Officer as per reference 1, was reverted to the post of Welfare Institution Superintendent Grade-1 and posted to the Government Old Age Home, Ernakulam. Further, Sri. Siddique Chunkakkadan, who is included in the select list mentioned in reference 3, was promoted to the vacancy of District Social Justice Officer in Alappuzha district as per references 2 and 4. 2. Since Sri. Siddique Chunkakkadan is retiring from service on 31.05.2026, the Director of Social Justice requested to promote and appoint Smt. Ashathi V., who was reverted as per reference 4, to the vacancy of District Social Justice Officer in Alappuzha district. 3. The Government examined the matter in detail. Since Smt. Ashathi V. was reverted from the post of District Social Justice Officer due to the non-availability of a vacancy on 01.06.2026, she is eligible for reappointment to the said post under Rule 7, Part II of KS&SSR. In view of the promotion granted to Smt. Ashathi V. as per reference 1 based on the 2024 select list for the post of District Social Justice Officer, the Government hereby orders the reappointment of Smt. Ashathi V. to the post of District Social Justice Officer under Rule 7, Part II of KS&SSR.
