Order
As per the SDRF norms, administrative sanction of Rs. 500,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) was granted for the restoration of roads damaged by monsoon calamities, including the Edavilpadi-Thalippoyil-Thammil road in Kunnamangalam Grama Panchayat, Kunnamangalam Block, Kozhikode District. Due to technical glitches on the e-tender site and difficulties in uploading tender details on the press support wire, the work could not be completed within the stipulated time. The District Collector requested permission to condone the delay in completion and to release the final bill amount.
2) The Government examined the matter in detail. Considering the recommendation of the District Collector and the explanation of the implementing officer, the Government hereby ratifies the action of entering into the contract after the stipulated period for the restoration of the Edavilpadi-Thalippoyil-Thammil road, condones the delay in completion of the work, and grants permission to the District Collector to release the final bill amount after deducting the penalty as per PWD norms from the expenditure incurred for the work permissible under SDRF norms.
