Sumesh K.S. of Ernakulam Town Police Station to act in a movie - Order issued. Home (P) Department. G.O.(Rt) No. 2131/2026/HOME dated Thiruvananthapuram, 24-06-2026. Reference: 1. Application submitted by Sri. Sumesh K.S., SCPO(Gr) 12033 dated 24/04/2026. 2. Letter No. N2-85521/2026/PHQ dated 12/05/2026 from the State Police Chief. Order: Sri. Sumesh K.S., SCPO(Gr) 12033 of Ernakulam Town Police Station had requested permission to act in the movie 'Paripadi' directed by Sri. Joju George on 25/06/2026 & 26/06/2026, which was recommended by the State Police Chief vide reference (2). 2) The Government examined the matter in detail. Permission is hereby granted to Sri. Sumesh K.S., SCPO(Gr) 12033 of Ernakulam Town Police Station to act in the movie 'Paripadi' directed by Sri. Joju George on 25/06/2026 & 26/06/2026, subject to the provisions of the 1960 Kerala Government Servants Conduct Rules and Police Force Rules, and the following conditions: (a) Should not accept remuneration for acting in the movie. (b) Acting should not hinder official duties. (c) Act in the movie without changing the script submitted to the government. (d) The script should not contain anything against the government, harmful to social order, or damaging to the image of the police force. (e) If leave is taken for acting, prior approval must be obtained from the superior authority. (f) Must report for duty as and when required by the government or superior authority.
