Government of Kerala Abstract Disaster Management Department - Financial assistance sanctioned to those who suffered house damage due to natural calamities in Kollam district from the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) and Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF). Disaster Management (A) Department G.O.(Rt) No.287/2026/DMD Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 07-07-2026 Reference:- 1. Letters from the District Collector, Kollam dated 11.03.2025, 20.09.2025, 24.06.2025 (DCKLM/7109/2025-DM3) and letters dated 11/03/2025, 26/03/2025, 18/04/2025, 14/07/2025, 11/11/2025 (DCKLM/2146/2024-N). 2. Letter from the Land Revenue Commissioner dated 15.09.2025, 19.06.2026 (LR/6031/2025-LR(H2)). Order As per reference (1), the District Collector, Kollam and the Land Revenue Commissioner have submitted recommendations for financial assistance of ₹6,99,99,000/- for compensation to beneficiaries for house damage due to natural calamities in 2023 and 2024 through the LRD portal, and ₹2,87,20,200/- as CMDRF share for those who suffered house damage due to natural calamities from 2021 onwards. (2) The Government has examined the matter in detail. Sanction is hereby accorded to the District Collector, Kollam for ₹6,99,99,000/- (Rupees Six Crore Ninety Nine Lakh Ninety Nine Thousand only) from the head 2245-02-113-99 Repair to Damaged Houses from the SDRF for those who suffered house damage in 2024 and 2025, and ₹2,87,20,200/- (Rupees Two Crore Eighty Seven Lakh Twenty Thousand Two Hundred only) as CMDRF share for those who suffered house damage from 2021 onwards. (3) The Disaster Management Department Finance Officer shall take steps to release the SDRF amount to the District Collector, Kollam. The Revenue (DRF-C) Department shall take steps to release the CMDRF amount to the District Collector, Kollam. (4) The amount shall be utilized from the current financial year's budget head, details of utilization must be recorded in the NDMIS portal, and the utilization certificate must be submitted to the Government.
