Summary: Environment Department - Kerala State Wetlands Authority - Order issued sanctioning Rs. 5 Lakhs as the first installment for activities including the salary of officials. Environment (A) Department. G.O.(Rt) No.44/2026/ENVT, Date, Thiruvananthapuram, 18-06-2026. Reference: Letter No. SWAK/62/2024-A1-Part(1) dated 08-04-2026 of the Member Secretary, Kerala State Wetlands Authority. Order: A budget allocation of ₹150.00 (One hundred and fifty lakhs only) has been earmarked for the Kerala State Wetlands Authority for the financial year 2026-27 under the head '3435-03-101-89'. The Member Secretary of the Kerala State Wetlands Authority had requested to sanction ₹5,00,000/- (Five lakhs only) as the first installment to meet administrative expenses including the salary of officials for 6 months until administrative sanction for the said amount is received. 2. The Government examined the matter in detail. Permission is hereby granted to release Rs. 5,00,000/- (Five lakhs only) as the first installment from the head '3435-03-101-89-PV' to the Kerala State Wetlands Authority for expenses including the salary of officials for the period until administrative sanction is received (for 6 months from March to August 2026).
