Order
An amount of ₹1,37,79,000/- (One crore thirty-seven lakh seventy-nine thousand rupees only) has been allocated under the non-plan head for the Kerala Sahitya Akademi for the financial year 2026-27. From this allocation, the first installment of ₹11,00,000/- (Eleven lakh rupees only) was sanctioned as per the order in reference (2). The Secretary of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi has submitted a request as per reference (3) to sanction the second installment from the said allocation.
2. The Government examined the matter in detail. Permission is hereby granted to release ₹15,00,000/- (Fifteen lakh rupees only) as the second installment from the amount allocated under the non-plan head "2205-00-102-97-00-36 (Non-Plan)" for the Kerala Sahitya Akademi for the financial year 2026-27.
3. The said amount shall be transferred online to the STSB account number 713021400000208 of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi at the Thrissur Sub-Treasury, as per the conditions in the circular in reference (1). The Administrative Accounts Officer of the Cultural Affairs Department, who is the DDO, shall take necessary action, and the institution's Secretary shall provide the necessary supporting details to the Director of the Cultural Affairs Department. Within three months of receiving the amount, the institution's Secretary must submit the utilization certificate to the Government, the Accountant General, and the Director of the Cultural Affairs Department. Furthermore, when submitting the recommendation for the next installment, the utilization certificate of the amount sanctioned as the second installment, detailed expenditure statement, and expected expenditure statement for the next installment must be provided.
