Disaster Management (B) Department G.O.(Rt) No.268/2026/DMD Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 01-07-2026 Reference:- 1. G.O.(Rt) No. 136/2023/DMD dated 10.03.2023 2. Letter No. DCKSGD/10770/2025-K3 dated 20.06.2026 from the District Collector, Kasaragod Order Administrative sanction of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh only) was granted as per the referred order for the renovation of Thaivalappu-Maipadi road in Madhur Grama Panchayat, Kasaragod Block, Kasaragod District, which was damaged during monsoon, under SDRF norms. However, due to climate change and the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct for the General Election from March 16th, the contract for the work could not be executed. Consequently, the work could not be completed within the stipulated time. In the above circumstances, the District Collector requested permission to condone the delay in completion of the work and to sanction the final bill amount as per the referred letter. 2) The Government examined the matter in detail. Considering the recommendation of the District Collector and the explanation of the implementing officer, the Government hereby ratifies the action of entering into the contract after the stipulated period for the renovation of Thaivalappu-Maipadi road in Madhur Grama Panchayat, Kasaragod Block, Kasaragod District, for which administrative sanction was granted as per the referred order, condones the delay in completion of the work, and grants permission to the District Collector to release the final bill amount after deducting the fine as per PWD norms from the expenditure incurred for the work permissible under SDRF norms.
