Government of Kerala Health and Family Welfare Department G.O.(Rt) No.2108/2026/H&FWD Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 24-06-2026 Abstract Health and Family Welfare Department - Plan Fund 2021-22 - Scheme 'Improving facilities of health institutions and hospitals in tribal, coastal and remote areas' - Construction of Pharmacy building at Kadalayi Family Health Centre - Administrative sanction granted to utilize the remaining funds for finishing works of the building. References:- 1. G.O.(Rt) No.2087/2021/H&FWD dated 25.09.2021 2. Proceedings of the Director of Health Services dated 23.10.2021, No. PLB3/76576/2021/DHS 3. Letter of the Director of Health Services dated 25.03.2026, No. PLB3-17450/2024/DHS Order As per the order in reference (1), administrative sanction was granted for ₹601 Lakhs for the development of 8 institutions in the coastal belt area under the 2021-22 annual plan scheme 'Improving facilities of health institutions and hospitals in tribal, coastal and remote areas' under the head '2210-03-110-93(Plan)'. Subsequently, as per the proceedings in reference (2), the Director of Health Services had granted permission to utilize ₹36,50,000/- (Thirty-six lakhs and fifty thousand rupees only) for the construction of the pharmacy building at Kadalayi Family Health Centre, Malappuram district. The Director of Health Services, vide reference (3), informed that out of the ₹36,50,000/- sanctioned, an amount of ₹8,31,601/- remains unutilized and requested administrative sanction to utilize this balance for the necessary finishing works of the building, based on the estimate provided by the District Medical Officer. 2. According to the estimate report provided by the Public Works Department, plastering, door and window works, and priming at the pharmacy building of Kadalayi FHC have been completed. The main works included in the current estimate are flooring (Tiles with epoxy grout), chequered tiles for the ramp, painting works, pharmacy counter construction, construction of handrails for the ramp, and electrification works. 3. The Government has examined the matter in detail. Administrative sanction is hereby granted to utilize the remaining balance of ₹8,31,601/- (Eight lakhs thirty-one thousand six hundred and one rupees only) out of the funds sanctioned for the 'Construction of Pharmacy building at Kadalayi Family Health Centre' under the 2021-22 annual plan scheme 'Improving facilities of health institutions and hospitals in tribal, coastal and remote areas' (Head: 2210-03-110-93(Plan)), for the finishing works of the said building, subject to the condition that the expenditure shall be limited to the sanctioned amount.
