Government of Kerala. Industries Department - Order issued fixing the rebate sale days for handloom products during various festival periods and school uniform rebate sale periods for the year 2026. G.O.(Rt) No.937/2026/ID dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 11-08-2026. Reference: 1. G.O.(Rt) No.440/2022/ID dated 17/05/2022. 2. G.O.(Rt) No.432/2025/ID dated 23/04/2025. 3. Letter No. HL/2505/2025-C7 dated 25.02.2026 and 10/03/2026 from the Director of Handlooms. Order: The Director of Handlooms, as per reference (3), submitted a request to fix the various rebate days for the year 2026 for primary handloom cooperative societies and apex institutions like Hantex and Hanveev, requesting to allow 20% rebate for 41 days during various festival periods of the 2026 financial year and 30% rebate for 15 days for school uniform rebate sales for the sale of handloom products. (2) The Government examined this matter in detail. For the year 2026, for the sale of handloom products by primary handloom cooperative societies and apex institutions like Hantex and Hanveev, the Government hereby orders to allow a rebate of 20% for 41 days during various festival periods and 30% rebate for 15 days during the school uniform rebate sale period, totaling 56 days, subject to the conditions and as per the table attached below.
