Order: Regarding the fire incident on 21/04/2026 at the firecracker storage site in Kattankulam, Mundathikode village, related to the Thrissur Pooram, preliminary reports on the number of deceased and injured were submitted. Based on that, an order was issued granting financial assistance to 10 deceased and 13 injured persons from the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund and the Disaster Response Fund as per reference (3). 2) The Thrissur District Collector has requested financial assistance for the dependents of those who died while under treatment following the firecracker warehouse disaster in Kattankulam, Mundathikode village, for the dependents of individuals whose body parts were identified through the first phase of DNA testing but not handed over to relatives, and for those injured in the accident mentioned in List C, if eligible, as per reference (5).
