Government of Kerala Abstract Revenue Department - Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund - Order issued granting financial assistance and free ration to 299 workers/dependents of Alappuzha port in connection with Onam 2026. Revenue (DRF-C) Department G.O.(Rt) No.1664/2026/RD dated Thiruvananthapuram, 23-08-2026 Reference:- 1. Letter No. HOKMB-TVM/839/2025-B2 dated 17.08.2026 from the CEO, Kerala Maritime Board. Order The Chief Executive Officer of the Kerala Maritime Board had submitted a proposal through the Revenue Department requesting financial assistance and a second free ration for 299 workers/dependents of Alappuzha port in connection with Onam 2026. 2. The Government examined the matter in detail. Sanction is hereby accorded for financial assistance of ₹5,250/- (Rupees Five Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty only) each and a second free ration to 299 workers/dependents of Alappuzha port in connection with Onam 2026 from the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund. 3. The rice required for this purpose should be made available by the Food and Civil Supplies Department. 4. An amount of ₹15,69,750/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakh Sixty-Nine Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty only) required for the distribution of ₹5,250/- each to 299 workers/dependents of Alappuzha port, along with the amount required for the second free ration, shall be released to the District Collector, Alappuzha from the T.P.80 account held in the name of the Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, who is the Treasurer of the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund. 5. Before distributing the financial assistance/free ration, the District Collector must verify all details regarding the beneficiaries/dependents and ensure accuracy. Details regarding the distribution must be reported to the Government within two weeks. If any of the 299 workers/dependents do not receive the sanctioned amount/free ration, the said amounts must be refunded to the Government.
