Abstract: Health and Family Welfare Department - Extension of the contract period for security services provided through M/s Professional Hospitality & Support Services (PHSS) at the SSB & MSB blocks of the Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram - Orders issued. Health and Family Welfare (P) Department. G.O.(Rt) No. 2685/2026/H&FWD dated Thiruvananthapuram, 14-08-2026. References: 1. G.O.(Rt) No. 2466/2024/H&FWD dated 16/10/2024. 2. G.O.(Rt) No. 1288/2025/H&FWD dated 09/05/2025. 3. Letter No. PA3/2061/2025/DME dated 21/03/2026 from the Director of Medical Education. Order: The contract period for security services at the SSB & MSB blocks of the Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, provided through M/s Professional Hospitality & Support Services (PHSS), is extended for one year from 01/04/2026 to 31/03/2027, or until a new contract is entered into, whichever is earlier, subject to the existing rates, terms, and conditions. The necessary funds shall be met from the head of account '2210-05-105-98-00-34OC-030I (P)(V)'. This order is subject to the final outcome of the Hon'ble High Court cases WP(C) 5229 of 2025 and WP(C) 5396 of 2025.
