Government of Kerala, Cultural Affairs Department - Museum and Zoo Department - Order issued to exclude advances for food, non-food items, and medicine required for the zoo from the general advance limits of other departments, considering them separately due to the essential nature of zoo services and administrative requirements. Cultural Affairs (B) Department, G.O.(Rt) No. 324/2026/CLAD, Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 22-06-2026. Reference: Letter No. E 186037 MZ/120/2026-D dated 25.02.2026 from the Director of Museum and Zoo Department. Order: 1. The Director of the Museum and Zoo Department had requested, vide reference (1), that advances for food, non-food items, and medicine for the zoo, which is an essential service, should be considered separately and excluded from the advance limits of other departments, taking into account administrative peculiarities and the specific needs of the zoo. 2. The Government has examined this matter in detail. It is hereby ordered that for the advances permissible to a DDO in the case of zoos, the advances for food, non-food items, and medicine shall be considered separately, excluding them from the advance limits of other departments, considering administrative peculiarities and the requirements of the zoo.
