Government of Kerala, Abstract: Homeopathy Department - Compassionate inter-district transfer of Smt. Nikhita N., Pharmacist Grade-II, Government Homeo Dispensary, Vathikkudy, Idukki District - Orders issued. AYUSH (C) Department, G.O.(Rt) No.18/2026/AYUSH, Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 15-03-2026. References: (1) G.O.(P) No.36/91/P&ARD dated 02/12/1991. (2) Letter No. DCKNR/13375/2024-H3 dated 22/09/2025 from the District Collector, Kannur. (3) Appeal applications submitted by Sri. Prakash Babu C., Nimisha Nivas, Pappinisseri West P.O., Kannur on 20/01/2026 and 17/02/2026, along with the medical report. (4) Letter No. DHTVM/211/2026-EA5 dated 07/02/2026 from the Head of Homeopathy Department. Order: Smt. Nikhita N., Pharmacist Grade-II at Government Homeo Dispensary, Vathikkudy, Idukki, had submitted an application as per reference (3) requesting a compassionate inter-district transfer to a district near her hometown for the care of her sick child and to ensure necessary medical facilities. 2. A medical board report has been provided along with the application stating that her two-and-a-half-year-old son is suffering from a serious illness called 'Cyclic Neutropenia' (Primary Immuno Deficiency Disorder) and that the climate in Idukki district is harmful to the child's health. Furthermore, the Head of Homeopathy Department has reported as per reference (4) that there are currently no vacancies for Pharmacist Grade-II in Kannur district, but a vacancy will arise in Kasaragod district on 01/05/2026 due to retirement. 3. The Government has examined the matter in detail. On humanitarian grounds, considering this as a special case and granting relaxation in the existing rules [provisions under paragraphs (5) and (6) of the order in reference (1)], the Government hereby issues orders granting compassionate inter-district transfer to Smt. Nikhita N., Pharmacist Grade-II, Government Homeo Dispensary, Vathikkudy, Idukki, to Kasaragod district, subject to the following conditions. Conditions: 1. She shall be transferred and appointed to the vacancy arising in Kasaragod district on 01/05/2026 due to retirement. 2. In the future, the Head of Homeopathy Department shall take necessary steps to appoint her on priority basis to the first vacancy arising in the Pharmacist Grade-II post in her home district of Kannur. 3.
