Government of Kerala. Social Justice Department - 'RPWD Research Cell Project' - 2026-27 Financial Year - Administrative sanction issued for expenditure. Social Justice (B) Department. G.O.(Rt) No.162/2026/SJD dated Thiruvananthapuram, 10-08-2026. Reference: 1. Letter No. SJD/3223/2026-D2 dated 14.07.2026 from the Director of Social Justice. 2. Minutes of the Departmental Working Group meeting held on 17.07.2026. Order. To implement the 4% job reservation for persons with disabilities as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, tasks such as examining posts in all government-aided institutions, identifying suitable ones, submitting them as government orders, finalizing guidelines for institutional registration, and preparing guidelines for implementing 4% disability reservation backlog appointments need to be completed. To fully implement the 2016 Act and to carry out the activities of this project for the 2026-27 financial year, the Director of Social Justice had submitted a proposal as per reference (1) requesting permission to spend Rs. 1,05,33,036/- from the Rs. 15,00,00,000/- allocated under the head 2235-60-200-83 (Plan) for the current financial year. The Departmental Working Group meeting as per reference (2) examined the said proposal as item no. 45 and recommended granting administrative sanction. 3. The government examined the matter in detail. Administrative sanction is hereby granted to spend Rs. 1,05,33,036/- (One crore five lakh thirty-three thousand and thirty-six rupees only) for the continuation of the RPWD Research Cell project from the Rs. 15,00,00,000/- allocated under the head 2235-60-200-83 (Plan) for the current financial year.
