INDUSTRIES (C) DEPARTMENT G.O.(Rt)No.949/2026/ID Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 13-08-2026 Read 1 Letter No.KSTC/I-0/2026/D-290 dated 30.06.2026 from the Executive Chairman, BPT. 2 Minutes of the first Departmental Working Group (Industries) held on 08.07.2026. 3. e-Anumathi AS/IND/26/52397 valid upto 12/08/2029. ORDER The Executive Chairman, BPT as per the letter read as 1st paper above has submitted a proposal for repairs and maintenance for units under Kerala State Textile Corporation Ltd (KSTC) under the scheme Rejuvenation and Revival of Viable PSU under the head of account 6860-01-190-95 of Kerala State Textile Corporation Ltd during 2026-27. 2) There is a Budget provision of Rs.1486 Lakh for the year 2026-27 under the head of account 6860-01-190-95 for the scheme Rejuvenation and Revival of Viable PSU. The Executive Chairman, BPT has requested to sanction an amount of Rs.199 Lakh for the proposal for repairs and maintenance for units under KSTC from the head of account 6860-01-190-95. 3) The project is for urgent repairs and maintenance in Carding, drawing, ring frame, minimum work on civil requirement & power house repair of units. The mill-wise requirement has been assessed based on the condition of machinery, urgency of repairs, and production needs. The project is expected to improve machine efficiency and productivity, yield better yarn quality and market competitiveness, energy savings and improved safety and extended life of machinery. 4) The mill wise requirement is as given below: [Table of requirements] 5) The Departmental Working Group held on 08.07.2026 considered the proposal and recommended for repairs and maintenance for units under KSTC from the head of account 6860-01-190-95. 6) Government have examined the recommendation of the Working Group and are pleased to accord Administrative Sanction for the proposal for repairs and maintenance of units under KSTC under Rejuvenation and Revival of Viable PSU, an amount of Rs.199 Lakh (Rupees One Hundred and Ninety Nine Lakh only) debiting the expenditure under the head of account 6860-01-190-95 from the current year's budget provision.
